Austin artist Virginia Fleck is known for her vibrant mandalas recycled from plastic shopping bags. She has been working this way for more than 10 years with no shortage of material. It is said littered bags can be found everywhere from the bottom of the sea to the top of Mount Everest. Front gallery will feature several new mandala pieces that restructure familiar brands and logos in very intentional ways.

Also from Austin, Steve Wiman will create a site specific work using his signature method of arranging obscure objects and beautiful waste. Wiman is probably best known for his ongoing and ever changing installation that is Uncommon Objects in Austin.
